This position will be a part of the FinOps team and drive the engineering initiatives throughout the Growth Org.  This will be a blend of hands on work along with governance and policy, with KPIs measured on cost optimization.   

What you?ll do: 

  * Drive accountability to engineering teams that are responsible for the application/services. 

  * Provide guidance to engineering teams to have a cost-effective application/service by identifying anomalies and best practices 

  * Work with Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible, Puppet 

  * Work together with engineering teams to identify rate reductions and possible cost avoidance 

  * Collaborate with Platform Engineering on improvement of DevOps metrics 

  * Cost allocation 

What you?ll need: 

  * Experience with Git 

  * Experience with FinOps.Org framework 

  * CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure Pipelines (any one) 

  * Knowledge on REST / Open APIs 

  * Experience with deployment and operations of Cloud based infrastructures (preferably with Azure Cloud and AWS) 

  * Knowledge on Kubernetes, Istio, Container and microservices related tec stack 

  * Knowledge on database (both relational SQL and Non SQL based databases). 

  * Experience with monitoring of cloud and mobile applications (preferably using New Relic) 

  * Knowledge on security concepts for cloud based infrastructure and apps, mobile applications, Kubernetes based backends 

  * Critical thinking and analysis
